Avid‘s history of managing travel insurance schemes goes back to the company’s formation in 2006, and our current team have wide-ranging experience in the travel insurance market. 

Acting as MGA on behalf of a specially selected panel of insurers, we offer travel insurance intermediaries a bespoke service in the design, pricing and servicing of travel insurance schemes relevant to the specific needs of their target customers. Our service delivery is supported by specialist claims handlers and emergency assistance providers, appointed by our insurer panel, ensuring a customer-focused claims management service.

A highly data-driven approach to underwriting, powered by our market-leading reporting and analysis tools, gives us the ability to manage schemes pro-actively for our distributors whilst delivering profitable loss ratio performance for our insurer partners. Regular flows of data back to our distributors ensure that all parties understand current levels of sales and claims activity, and help us to work in partnership to identify and react to emerging trends and patterns. Our experienced and approachable underwriting team is always on hand to support our clients in any way we can, and to help with technical or operational matters. 

We have in-depth knowledge of a wide variety of travel insurance distribution methods, including direct (B2C), broker propositions (B2B), price comparison websites, travel agency/tour operator schemes and travel insurance products for inclusion within employee benefits or membership benefits programs.
